Satoru MURAI is a young man who is obsessed with anime. He spends all of his free time watching anime and reading manga. He is also a talented artist and has drawn many illustrations of his favorite anime characters. One day, Satoru MURAI is walking home from school when he is hit by a car. He dies instantly. However, Satoru MURAI is not ready to give up his life just yet. He is reborn as a girl named Akane-chan. Akane-chan is a cheerful and optimistic girl who loves to watch anime just as much as Satoru MURAI did. She also has a special power: she can transform into any anime character she wants. Akane-chan uses her power to help people and fight crime. She soon becomes a popular superhero and is loved by everyone in her town.
